Our Chanel Cruise is a great way to view the stunning Hinchinbrook Island. Our skipper will take you through the magnificent mangrove systems of the Hinchinbrook Channel looking for birds and marine wildlife. During this time, we will also point out the significant landmarks on Hinchinbrook Island and inform you of the History of the “Texas Terror” which crashed on the Island in WWII.
Disembarking from the cruise, you will be picked up from the public jetty at Lucinda by bus and taken past the world’s largest bulk sugar loading facility. This is a 5.76Km long jetty located off Lucinda.
We will then drive past the Victoria Mill and have a brief stop at the Cardwell Range Lookout. From here you will get the panoramic views of Hinchinbrook Island and Channel.
This is a fantastic 3-hour tour suitable for the whole family!
